You'll find a very warm welcome at the Lowestoft Photographic Club, which meets at the Trinity Church Hall, in Lowestoft, Suffolk. The church hall is accessed by turning into Park Road from Yarmouth Road, then turning left into the car park. It is at the rear of the church, opposite to Harleston House Care Home on Park Road, Lowestoft. See the location page.
Meet with other like-minded Lowestoft Photographers, we meet each Wednesday evening from September to May, starting at approx. 7:30 pm and generally finish before 10:00 p.m. When the season has ended we have some summer trips that are kindly supported by Pam Greystone with plenty of opportunities to take photographs that will be used in the next season's competitions.
Our programme is a mix of competitions, practical activities, talks by members and visiting lecturers. Our aims are to assist in developing photographic skills through the regular and friendly exchange of ideas. Membership is open to anyone interested in or practising photography, either digital or conventional film.
The Club is currently providing images for the Lowestoft Image Project, in conjunction with the Lowestoft Town Council, the link to the site is here.
