Female banded demoiselle and they are included together to highlight the sexual dimorphism of this species of damselfly. They were both taken on Outney Common near Bungay this summer when the paths farthest from the car-park were overgrown to the extent that the grasses were up to head height and I firmly believe that every plant and insect capable of scratching, stinging or biting me did so.
