This is a chance with Trevor Cox to develop your skill and confidence in an informal portraiture setting using models and the club’s lighting equipment.

An evening with Ivor Ottley – Photographer and musician.  "I spend my time observing and photographing nature and wildlife". Ivor’s images are often shortlisted for finals of International photographic competitions, and he was published in the ‘Wildlife Photographer of the Year’ selected finalists 2023. 

Our LPC Annual Prints and Digitals Exhibition is on display at Lowestoft Library from today until Saturday, 28 February.

Do you enjoy taking pictures? Ever wonder why the judge didn't like your image, but at least had something good to say about it? Learn a little from this informal session, where members can use their analytical skills to judge images using established or personal criteria.

On Wednesday, January 28, 2026, the Projected Image Knockout competition will bring together talented photographers, digital artists, and image enthusiasts for a day filled with creativity, skill, and friendly rivalry. Whether you are a participant or a spectator, this event promises to deliver stunning visuals and inspiring moments that celebrate the power of projected images.

The Lowestoft Photographic Club gathered on December 17th, 2025, for its Annual Christmas Party, a much-anticipated event that brought members together to celebrate the festive season and their shared passion for photography. This year’s party featured a lively quiz organized by Paul Newson, which added a playful challenge to the evening. Alongside delicious party food and warm conversations, the event created lasting memories.
