That is part of what makes Lowestoft Photographic Club’s first printed image competition of the 2026 to 2027 season such an interesting evening for local photographers.

In 2021, Ian Bundey didn’t even own a camera. Just a few years later, he was FIA-accredited and photographing Grands Prix around the world for international media agencies. That’s a remarkable leap by any measure, and it’s exactly the story he’ll be sharing at Lowestoft Photographic Club on Wednesday 23 September 2026 at 7.30 pm.

The Lowestoft Photographic Club invites all members to join the Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, 26th May 2026, starting at 7.30 pm. This is a chance with Trevor Cox to develop your skill and confidence in an informal portraiture setting using models and the club’s lighting equipment.

An evening with Ivor Ottley – Photographer and musician. "I spend my time observing and photographing nature and wildlife". Ivor’s images are often shortlisted for finals of International photographic competitions, and he was published in the ‘Wildlife Photographer of the Year’ selected finalists 2023.

Do you enjoy taking pictures? Ever wonder why the judge didn't like your image, but at least had something good to say about it? Learn a little from this informal session, where members can use their analytical skills to judge images using established or personal criteria.

The Lowestoft Photographic Club gathered on December 17th, 2025, for its Annual Christmas Party, a much-anticipated event that brought members together to celebrate the festive season and their shared passion for photography.
